Sacred Living Center is connected with Jami’a Masjid Usman, and men use the beautiful masjid area to pray, attend talks and connect with each other.
At Sacred Living Center, men’s casual meetups and classes as well as meetings are held in our sitting room/classroom. Some men’s events are also held in our spaces for women on Fridays and after women’s hours on other days.
At Sacred Living Center we have a dedicated co-working space exclusively for women to study or work in, with the convenience of a prayer area and coffee shop at hand, as well as our children’s play and creativity space under the same roof for their children to be busy while they work.
Children are always welcome at Sacred Living Center. We have a large indoor play and creativity space for children stocked with puzzles, games, art and craft supplies, props for unstructured play, and a highly curated collection of books from around the world. When not in use for a scheduled class, the space is open for your young children to spend some quality time in while their mothers are in a session. Please note that children 4 years old and under must be with an adult in the play space; all mothers or accompanying adults must clean up after their children before leaving. The Children’s Space is open for girls of all ages, and boys upto 8 years only.
We also have space for supervised play outdoors, with a wooden tree-house for added fun.
At Sacred Living Center, we have two comfortable and beautifully decorated sitting rooms for women to relax in while their children are in a class or enjoying our play and creativity space, or to just come and hang out in whenever they would like during our open hours. Here women and older girls can read a good book from our thoughtfully curated collection, engage in quiet worship, enjoy drinks and snacks from our coffee shop, play board games, spend time with old friends freely in a single gender space or get to know women who visit the center and engage organically in uplifting conversations.
At Sacred Living Center we have a dedicated classroom for women where most of our sessions for women are held.
At Sacred Living Center, we have a small coffee shop with hot and cold drinks as well as snacks for sale at low prices.
